Saturday, December 10th, 2011

Stockholm, Sweden (PRWEB) June 10, 2011

Today PlusFourSix kicks off the non-commercial beta for Kiwi, Europes first premium cloud based music service also offering music videos. Potential partners such as operators, handset manufacturers, retailers and media companies now has the possibility to try the service live in 20 countries throughout Europe.

The non-commercial beta includes a desktop client for PC and Mac as well as a mobile client for Android phones. An iPhone client as well as a TV interface will be available for the commercial launch later this summer. PlusFourSix has built one of the largest music databases in the world, with more than 11 million tracks and tens of thousands of music videos. Besides adding the visual element of the music videos into a cloud music service, PlusFourSix is also providing editorial playlists to enable a fast and easy way to discover new music and videos.

PlusFourSix provides Kiwi as part of their B2B business model and has closed deals with several distribution partners, which will be announced during summer. In some cases the service will be Kiwi branded and in other case partner branded and provided as a white-label service says Jan Nordlund co-founder and EVP Business Development at PlusFourSix.

There are some great music services out on the market already, but we believe that the music video feature is adding a valuable key element to address the needs of todays music consumers. There will be a huge amount of consumers in Europe paying for a cloud based music service within the next 3-4 years. Kiwi is the enabler for any company wanting to grab their own share of that market. says Niklas St

MeMeMe Partners with Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to Bring Next Generation Voice Recognition Services to their Updated Mobile Applications

Saturday, December 10th, 2011

Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 28, 2011

MeMeMe partnered with the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to enhance the user-interface of the ESRBs mobile applications for Apple, Android, and Windows Phone devices. According to Randy Walker, ESRBs Vice President of Marketing, Adding MeMeMes voice recognition technology to our apps greatly improved the user-interface (UI) by enabling users to simply say the game title into their phone, which initiates a rating search of our entire database. This helps parents and other consumers choose which video games are appropriate for their children and family by providing the complete rating information along with rating summaries, right in the store where they are most likely to need it. And the voice search makes accessing this helpful information quicker and easier than ever before.

The ESRB ratings include two equal parts: age ratings, which appear on the front of game packages, and content descriptors, found on the back, which identify content in a game that either triggered the rating or may be of interest or concern to parents. In 2008, the ESRB began offering a supplemental source of information called rating summaries, which provide brief but detailed description of exactly the type of content that is in a game, including specific examples. The mobile app powered by MeMeMes technology makes it possible, for the first time, for shoppers to obtain the ratings information that they need while in the store and to search ESRBs entire database of rated games, including rating summaries for those titles that have such summaries.

Working with MeMeMe and their team of developers provided access to cutting-edge technology and expertise that we dont have internally. Walker believes that its MeMeMe powered application not only creates a much improved user experience, but that this improved experience will translate directly into a big lift in downloads and utilization for our apps.

Sunday, September 11th, 2011

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 30, 2011

The growth and potential of internet connected televisions has led advertising, marketing and entertainment executives to form a new global industry organization the Connected Television Marketing Association (CTVMA) with the goal of educating the industry on the commercial opportunities of connected TV platforms.

Noting that Internet connected televisions, from brands such as Samsung, Sony and LG, are predicted to make up to 90% of the global TV market by 2014, with sales reaching 123 million, the CTVMA believes that Connected TV marketing initiatives will follow.

Connected TVs will enable marketers around the world to align their spending on video-based advertising across channels and to leverage the highly targeted opportunities that will become more available, said Doug Scott, Honorary U.S. Chair of the CTVMA, President of Ogilvy Entertainment. “Ogilvy is committed to the development of advertising and original brand funded programming on Connected TV platforms to enable a direct dialog between consumers and brands.”

Connected TVs offer brands the chance to connect their offline spend with the rapidly growing online content market, with TV applications or targeted ad campaigns served by ad networks across electronic program guides. With 85% of marketers interested in advertising on internet-connected TVs, the CTVMA been set up to inform and educate the advertising, media and entertainment sector on the commercial opportunities of Connected TV platforms.

Zachary Weiner, Co-Founder and President North America of the Connected TV Marketing Association said, “The challenges that a platform this disruptive can bring about are significant.
