MeMeMe Partners with Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to Bring Next Generation Voice Recognition Services to their Updated Mobile Applications

Saturday, December 10th, 2011

Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 28, 2011

MeMeMe partnered with the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to enhance the user-interface of the ESRBs mobile applications for Apple, Android, and Windows Phone devices. According to Randy Walker, ESRBs Vice President of Marketing, Adding MeMeMes voice recognition technology to our apps greatly improved the user-interface (UI) by enabling users to simply say the game title into their phone, which initiates a rating search of our entire database. This helps parents and other consumers choose which video games are appropriate for their children and family by providing the complete rating information along with rating summaries, right in the store where they are most likely to need it. And the voice search makes accessing this helpful information quicker and easier than ever before.

The ESRB ratings include two equal parts: age ratings, which appear on the front of game packages, and content descriptors, found on the back, which identify content in a game that either triggered the rating or may be of interest or concern to parents. In 2008, the ESRB began offering a supplemental source of information called rating summaries, which provide brief but detailed description of exactly the type of content that is in a game, including specific examples. The mobile app powered by MeMeMes technology makes it possible, for the first time, for shoppers to obtain the ratings information that they need while in the store and to search ESRBs entire database of rated games, including rating summaries for those titles that have such summaries.

Working with MeMeMe and their team of developers provided access to cutting-edge technology and expertise that we dont have internally. Walker believes that its MeMeMe powered application not only creates a much improved user experience, but that this improved experience will translate directly into a big lift in downloads and utilization for our apps.

Saturday, December 10th, 2011

Birmingham (PRWEB UK) 7 November 2011

Mobile Fun, the UKs leading online retailer of mobile accessories, has announced the launch of Mobile Fun Spain (http://www.mobilefun.es) and Mobile Fun Netherlands (http://www.mobilefun.nl).

The two new sites will sell the same range of products that Mobile Funs existing UK, German and French websites offer, including a globally-sourced stock of over 8,000 mobile accessories and devices.

Richard Moore, Mobile Funs Head of International, said: We have already enjoyed fantastic success with our UK, German and French websites. Our French website was launched in July 2010 and has exceeded initial sales targets, receiving more than 40,000 orders in the first year of trading. As a whole, international sales currently account for 25 per cent of Mobile Fun orders and, as this percentage is increasing, our new websites will help to further promote our brand overseas.

Recognising the importance of localisation in achieving success overseas, Mobile Fun recently appointed country heads for Spain and the Netherlands, who received training at Mobile Fun UK prior to the launch of the Spanish and Dutch websites.

Mobile Fun Spain is headed up by Vanesa Nunez while Robin Verschuren manages Mobile Fun Netherlands. The new recruits have been localising content depending on the specific preferences and demands of each territory. In addition, Mobile Funs in-house IT team has developed each site to offer preferred national payment methods. Spanish and Dutch customers will also enjoy rapid delivery, with orders placed before 5pm shipped on the same day.

Richard concluded: Having dedicated websites in another two European countries gives us access to key international and local markets which, in turn, serves to further expand our global presence. We recognise that our market entry in Spain and the Netherlands may be a gradual process, however, with our market-leading product range, we are confident that consumers will react positively to our new websites, as they have in France and Germany. So whether you are looking in Spain for accesorios Samsung Galaxy S2 or in The Netherlands for HTC Wildfire S hoesjes, Mobile Fun will sell it.

Mobile Funs current visitor numbers for its UK, German and French websites exceed 1,300,000 per month while its Spanish and Dutch websites have experienced over 10,000 visitors per week during the initial launch phase, with this number rapidly increasing.

7Seas Entertainment launches 10 new mobile games in addition to its existing 7 mobile games

Monday, December 5th, 2011

Hyderabad, India (PRWEB) July 20, 2011

With the burgeoning sales penetration of mobile handsets, especially those high-end devices that support high-speed game plays, and the increasing levels of adoption for the same, we are launching 10 mobile games to our existing portfolio of 7 mobile games, said Mr. L. Maruti Sanker, managing director of 7Seas Entertainment Limited.

According to a Research and Markets survey, the global mobile gaming market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.6 percent to reach $ 48 billion in 2014. Around 50 percent of mobile gamers are in the age group of 22-35 years, followed by 13-21 years and 35+ years (35 percent).

The new games that 7Seas launched today include Alexia The Great and The Fight 3D in the action category, MobiXonix, The Jars-I and The Jars-II in the arcade genre, Moto Riders and Rally Drive in racing and Air War 3D and Shoot Out in shooting and Catches Win Matches 3D in the sports genres.

The 10 mobile games, targeted at high-end mobile phones like Nokia, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Micromax, Blackberry, BenQ, Pantech, Sagem, Sanyo etc. are distributed through leading aggregators worldwide through online distribution and various apps stores that enable mobile users to download these games at one go.

Of these, Rally Drive is a multi-player game and The Fight 3D, MobiXonix, Air War 3D and Shoot Out are multi-lingual and are available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish while Moto Riders and Rally Drive are available in all above languages except Dutch.

Mr. Sanker said that there are about 800 million mobile subscribers in India. Mobile gaming is the fastest-growing segment for games and with more smartphones flooding the markets, game apps stores are becoming increasingly popular. Mobile gaming is expected to reap up to ` 17.1 billion in revenues by 2015 in India.

Though, globally, the acceptance levels are more than encouraging, markets like the US, the European Union, India, China and Brazil are the most important markets in terms of new mobile gamers. A number of underlying factors contribute to this growth. First of all, the evolving mobile technology environment and better and faster wireless networks as well as more advanced and easy-to-use handsets that are enhancing the user experience, Mr. Sanker said.

Mobile gaming is benefiting from the expanding mobile access to the Internet and content services offered by the mobile network operators, in both developed and emerging markets. And, as the 3G networks are being rolled out, the handset use experience will be enhanced and data access costs reduced, throwing up more avenues of revenues for mobile game developers, Mr. Sanker said.

With the 3G roll out in the domestic market, data usage on mobile phones is expected to grow faster than never before. Mobile gaming market, which is presently pegged at ` 800 crore globally, is at ` 200 crore in India. This is expected to grow at a rate of 50 per cent year-on-year, Mr.Sanker added.

Business Mobile Phone Buyback and Recycling Company e-Cycle Ranked the #68 Most Promising Company in America

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

Columbus, Oh (PRWEB) December 01, 2011

Today, Forbes ranked e-Cycle LLC #68 on its annual list Americas Most Promising Companies. One of only three Ohio companies to appear on this prestigious list, e-Cycle was the only company from Central Ohio to receive a ranking.

Forbes Americas Most Promising Companies list features 100 privately held up-and-comers with compelling business models, strong management teams, notable customers, strategic partners and precious investment capital.

Sizing up younger, privately held companies is hard: Their fortunes can change very quickly and theres a dearth of public data, says Forbes Executive Editor Brett Nelson. We took a more comprehensive approach to evaluate their health and potential.

To sharpen its search, Forbes teamed up with CB Insights, a Manhattan-based data firm that tracks investment in high-growth private companies. With $ 650,000 in grants from the National Science Foundation, CB has developed complex software called Mosaic that mines myriad online sources (from press releases and social networks to job boards and court filings) to come up with one, algorithmically derived score that measures a private companys health. Forbes married Mosaics data-crunching with old-fashioned reporting to assemble a list of rising stars with bright growth prospects. To view the complete the list, please visit http://www.forbes.com/ampc.

e-Cycle is the leading provider of wireless mobile buyback, data deletion and recycling services for businesses and major organizations. The company achieved 558 percent business growth between 2007 and 2010 and created more than 75 green jobs at its Ohio headquarters.

We are thrilled to be recognized by Forbes this year. I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of the entire e-Cycle team to provide unparalleled service for our clients, said Christopher Irion, founder and CEO of e-Cycle. Our success, however, would not be possible without the growing commitment to responsible e-waste reuse, recycling, and data security by the organizations that we serve. We applaud their environmental stewardship and thank them for their continued trust.

About e-Cycle

Ranked the #5 fastest growing, privately held environmental services company by Inc., e-Cycle helps organizations take a more responsible, secure and profitable approach to wireless mobile phone recycling. e-Cycle collects used mobile devices from businesses and major organizations, reimbursing them for devices that retain value and recycling all others at no charge. The information on every phone is either deleted or destroyed through the industrys most rigorous mobile data security measures. e-Cycles clients include financial institutions, healthcare organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and technology companies, among others. Since its founding in 2005, e-Cycle has purchased more than $ 13 million worth of retired mobile phones and recycled more than eight million wireless devices. The Rocks Estate Creates Mobile Farm Tour using QR Codes

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

Bethlehem, NH (PRWEB) November 30, 2011

When Nigel Manley, manager of The Rocks Estate, wanted to create a new tour of the historic property, he knew where to turn for help. Manley has been working with local Web guru Veronica Francis at Notchnet Web Services in Littleton, NH for more than five years to provide the best online services and information to Rocks Estate fans and potential visitors.

“We always try to keep things fresh, and our Mobile Tour is a fun new way to explore the farm, said Manley of the latest way to discover the 1,400-acre Christmas tree farm, which also serves as the North Country Conservation and Education Center of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Veronica has been a great help in getting programs off the ground and inspiring me to keep looking at new opportunities in Internet marketing for the farm.

The new Rocks Mobile Tour uses Quick Response (QR) code technology. The codes, which look like squares of abstract black and white designs, are posted on signs at each of the 13 stops on the Mobile Tour. When visitors snap a photo of the codes with their smartphones, information from each Mobile Tour stop appears on the phones screen.

The Mobile Tour reveals interesting snippets from the propertys history and historic buildings, information on current wildlife habitat and forest management, and tree facts about the three types of Christmas trees growing on the farm.

Although his focus on growing Christmas trees, providing experiential tours for visitors in all seasons, and coordinating a variety of natural education programs keeps Manley busy, he strives to use the latest technology to share the beauty and rich history of The Rocks Estate. To that end, Manley maintains a Facebook page and a Rocks Estate Blog and works with one of his employees to develop regular and informative YouTube videos about the property.

In an information era where people rely increasingly on the Web to get information about everything from where to vacation to how to get there, having a grasp on the latest technology is paramount to successful marketing.

Its really not enough for most businesses to simply maintain a Website anymore, Francis said. With social media, smart phone technology, and all the ways people search for information its really important to have a dynamic online presence.

Notchnet was founded in 1999 by Francis and her husband Charles Flanders as a Web design and hosting company. In the years since, the company has evolved along with Web technology to offer Web marketing, E-commerce, mobile sites to work with smart phones and tablets, and social media training and support.

Francis and Manley worked together, along with Manleys daughter Linnea, to identify places of interest throughout the property, which was once the home to the well-heeled Glessner family. The QR Codes allow visitors to view images of the Estates original buildings and explain each featured buildings history and modern day use. The Mobile Tour also shares the staffs knowledge about different Christmas tree species and their attributes even when there are no Rocks employees nearby to answer questions.

Its a really fun and easy way for visitors to learn about The Rocks, whether theyre here to select a Christmas tree, visiting our Maple Experience museum, or just exploring our trail network, said Manley. History is very important to us at The Rocks, but we try to be a little bit cutting edge, too.

The Rocks Estate is the North Country Conservation and Education Center of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests The Forest Society is a non-profit membership organization founded in 1901 to protect the states most important landscapes and promote wise use of its natural resources.

The landmark 1,400-acre Rocks Estate includes numerous buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers Agri- and Eco-tourism opportunities throughout the year. For more information please visit http://www.therocks.org.
